Die The God of Small Things von Arundhati Roy online lesen - a thoughtful intelligent book - I thought this was a great book! Thoughtful, insightful, and beautiful. Roy has written about issues that most people (in India or in America) will NOT talk about regarding the heirarchies we create between people. And she does this in an extremely beautiful way, telling an elegant story about the emotions of a family demonized in India, and in the West, for who they are, while still giving into that system. Roy's use of language is incredible, indeed, she has outdone Joyce himself. She is poetic and insightful. This is one of my favorite books!
